As a highly sensitive and intuitive people leader , I am ready to show you the way deeper satisfaction and lasting success to you and your business growth.
I am a hospitality and tourism management professional with over 10 years of experience, having worked with leading hotel brands such as Marriott International, Serena Hotels, and Grand Legacy Hotel. I have also enhanced my expertise through studies at renowned institutions including Cornell University, Education First (EF), African Management Institute, and Mount Kenya University.
Dr.Safari Ernest
Researcher Specialist
Trained in business and management sciences field with specialization in Hospitality and Tourism studies as professional, trainer, small business developer, researcher and entrepreneur, with over eight year’s hands-on experience in Business with specialization in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry. Dr Ernest Safari has acquired valuable strategic technical and managerial skills in the planning and coordinating of management decisions, and articulate precision in SMES development strategies and the implementation and management of pre-opening and post projects. I have acquired a corporate training both in business and education. In research on teaching and learning with Cape High Education consortium (CHEC: CPUT, UCT, SU, UNISA, UWC), the course of preparing for proposal in teaching and learning left me with balanced teaching and researching skills. Dr Ernest has learnt to prepare for a more systematic research proposal on teaching and learning with the focus on the main issues that would need to be considered when embarking on educational research projects. Dr Ernest has acquired the skills to try out different approaches to research, teaching and curricula development. Dr Ernest worked with NCDC about two years in their unit of curricula development in tourism and hospitality field. Dr Ernest worked for GIZ in 2019 in curricula development by using DCUM chart approach for advanced level of tourism destination management(Lev6 &7) in RP/IPRCs offering tourism programs. Currently Dr Ernest Safari is working with Mount Kenya University as a researcher, Masters Students supervisor, Postgraduates coordinator of Masters science in Hospitality Management students , lecturer and attachment coordinator and Ministry of labour liaison at Mount Kenya University and Dr Ernest Safari is serving as A High Education Council(HEC) examiner for TVET schools accreditation and RTB training manuals developer and reviewer . Dr Ernest Safari is solicited from time to time to examine local high learning institution both private and public(Eg IPRC Kitabi), the regional and international students research projects related industry(KUC). In cosmetics, Dr Ernest has acquired skills to make soaps, lotions, lip-balm and skin jelly and hand sanitizers. Dr Ernest’s passion is driven by a desire to perform, influence, transform and deliver above average results and solutions in a multi-tasking environment motivated by new challenges in project/Small and medium business development and management and implementation strategies.
